The ComCare Connection
A Customised Community Giving Initiative
Want to give a boost to your corporate volunteerism programme? Then sign up for the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre's latest initiative, The ComCare Connection. The Connection is a programme that will help organisations start employee volunteerism programmes, and assist organisations with established programmes bring more benefits to the community.

The ComCare Connection works by helping organisations match their interests and capabilities to voluntary welfare organisations (VWOs) and social enterprises (SEs). With the Connection, organisations will be able to find out how they can best contribute their time, talent and treasure to help the needy. Through The Connection, organisations will be able to develop programmes that help fulfil their corporate social responsibility goals and fully exploit their staff's skills for a good cause.

The purpose of The Connection is to structure a mutually beneficial partnership between an organisation and VWO through assessing and matching organisations' giving interests with VWOs' needs. Also with this programme, NVPC will enhance VWOs' capabilities to work with corporations, and vice versa.

Organisations that are interested in participating in the programme can contribute to the VWOs/SEs by way of in-kind donations, volunteers, specialised/professional skills or business core competencies. The Connection aims at developing a long-term partnership between organisations and VWOs/SEs.
