| CENTRE-BASED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME FOR CHILD CARE (CFAC) |
| Child care centres provide care for your child while you are working. A well-structured child care programme also helps your child learn and grow. If you need to place your child in a child care centre but have difficulties paying the fees, you may apply for help under CFAC. |

| What CFAC Provides |
- CFAC provides a subsidy for your child's child care fee every month, up to the maximum amount shown in the table below. This subsidy is given in addition to the universal government child care subsidy.

| Who Can Apply |
- Children who are Singapore citizens. Children who are permanent residents of Singapore (PR) can apply if at least one member of their immediate family is a Singapore citizen;
- Children who are below 7 years old and attending a licensed child care centre;
- Children whose family's monthly income is $1,800 and below; and
- Children whose mothers are working.
