Child care centres provide care for your child while you are working. A well-structured child care programme also helps your child learn and grow. If you need to place your child in a child care centre but have difficulties paying the fees, you may apply for help under CFAC.
| Monthly Household Income | Maximum CFAC subsidy per month for each child |
| Less than or equal to $1,000 | Up to $340 |
| $1,001 - $1,500 | Up to $300 |
| $1,501 - $1,800 | Up to $200 |
A start-up grant of up to $1,000 per child may be provided, to help families pay for their child's deposit, registration fee, uniforms and insurance.
If you need the assistance, you may apply for CFAC at the child care centre where your child is enrolled.
