| CENTRE-BASED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME FOR CHILDCARE (CFAC) |
| Childcare centres provide care for your child while you are working. A well-structured childcare programme also helps your child learn and grow. If you need to place your child in a childcare centre but have difficulties paying the fees, you may apply for help under CFAC. |

| What CFAC Provides |
- CFAC provides a subsidy for your child's childcare fee every month, up to the maximum amount shown in the table below. This subsidy is given in addition to the government childcare subsidy.

- A one-off assistance (Start-Up Grant) to meet the start-up costs of placing your child in a childcare centre may also be provided.

| Who Can Apply |
- Children who are Singapore citizens. Children who are permanent residents of Singapore (PR) can apply if at least one member of their immediate family is a Singapore citizen;
- Children who are below 7 years old and attending a licensed child care centre;
- Children who are of the first, second, third or fourth birth order;
- Children whose family's monthly income is $1,800 and below; and
- Children whose mothers are working.
